A resurrected church with a Southern Baptist heritage and a spirit-filled inheritance is springing to life in Baton Rouge. We are committed to new songs of high praise and worship with a deep regard for the passionate hymns of years gone by.
We believe in and are moving toward a worship that is alive and vibrant! Yes, that means everything from banners and the shofar to dance and utter stillness - at all times lost in the awe and majesty of God.
We believe in cooperating with other churches in a program of home and international missions support.
We are led by a group of elders, but publish a budget maintaining accountability with the church body, which participates in making major decisions.
We are young with vigor and enthusiasm, and old with scars from tear-marked experience in how not to do church.
We believe the supernatural gifts are for today and the fruit of the spirit is meant to give the gifts balance and consistency.
We are conservative in theology and charismatic in methodology. We pray for you, over you and with you.
We believe in small group fellowship and large group worship that is centered on the preaching of the Word, high praise, and intercession.
We are breaking down walls of division and seek to be interracial and one in spirit and brotherhood.
